Human and Hope Association have a great new partner called Eco-Soap Bank. When I first browsed the website, I thought that they collected used soaps from hotels and gave them to people. However, that isn’t the case. What actually happens is so much more amazing.

Firstly, partially used soap bars are collected from hotels and guesthouses in Cambodia. Next, the soap bars are sterilised and melted down into liquid soap, then put into recycled water bottles collected from around town. Finally, these bottles of soap are distributed to NGO’s and schools to be used with hygiene workshops so the students can put their new knowledge into action.

It is pretty amazing, hey! What a great sustainable project we are happy to be involved with!
